PREPARATION TIPS BEFORE TRAVELLING
By Cybelle V. Diones

There’s no better way of relaxing and having fun than traveling to different places and build beautiful and wonderful memories. Admit it, even if we are looking forward in reaching our destinations, we are also as much excited in traveling. The chance of peering at the window and seeing the outside world is surely a satisfying thing to do.
But have you ever experienced times when you forget some important stuff with you in the middle of your travel? I know it’s definitely frustrating. If only you could bring back the time and go back to your house just to grab it. Frankly, I experienced exactly the same thing the last time I traveled. So learning from the experience, let me share to you some tips in preparing for a perfect and worry-free travel.
THE BIG FOUR TIPS BEFORE TRAVELING
First, a week before the travel, take down the important things you’ll bring with you so you could slowly pack it all up in your luggage. Check the things you already have to prevent confusions. Well, what are the things that should most importantly be with you?
Money, a good amount of money so you’ll never run out short. Imagine walking back home with no money at all in your pocket, it would definitely be a terrible and embarrassing experience so avoid it as much as possible.
If you’re going to travel on an airplane, have your passport photocopied so if you unfortunately lost it, you could show to them a copy of your passport.
Prepare your clothes but avoid bringing too much because it could increase the number of your luggage. Remember, the lesser the luggage, the better. And, oh, don’t forget to bring a jacket or sweater with you in case of cold weather.
Always remember your video or still camera because it would preserve the beautiful memories you build during your travel and as you reach your destination.
Bring with you medicines for colds, dizziness, headaches, or stomach aches. It would also be advisable to bring plastic bags in case you’d puke in the middle of the travel
Pack some food with you if you’re traveling by car or bus so you won’t spend a lot in buying food outside.
Cell phones are much needed so you can contact important persons during your travel but just avoid using it while driving.
You may also bring with you other devices that you feel will make your journey perfect and satisfying.
Second thing to do is to check your appliances before leaving. Turn it all off to prevent any electrical problems and make sure that your windows and doors are closed
Third, if you’re going to use a car, make sure that it is in perfect condition because the last thing that you probably want to happen is be involved in an accident.
Fourth, keep your personal and valuable belongings in a safe place. Use padlocks and put a name in your luggage for safety purposes especially when traveling through airplanes, ships or buses.
After everything is prepared, you can now expect a wonderful trip. You can now enjoy without being anxious that you left or forget something at home. The thing that you just have to do is to make the most out of the trip, have fun and savor each memory that you’ll be experiencing ahead.
